About Me:
I am a proud, single father of an 11 yr. old girl named Hannah. She is the light of my life. I have been lucky enough to coach the different tournament softball teams she has played for. It's something I truly enjoy.
I have been doing graphic design work for over 14 years with a company named Ads-R-Us, and have worked my way up to manager of the layout (graphic design) department. We specialize in making placemats and menus for restaurants. We also do business cards, posters, fliers, brochures, etc. with a branch of the Ads-R-Us group named Printing By Design. The web branch of our company, is named iPublishers, and they specialize in making websites for auto dealers. They have asked me to help design and build some webpages for them.
Many years ago (when HTML first hit the scene), I taught myself HTML and built some web pages for fun, but then got away from it as I moved more towards graphics work. Now that I have been asked to help at iPublishers, I have enrolled in web development classes at DMACC in order to get back up to par with the new versions of HTML, XHTML, CSS, and to learn the new technologies that most of today's websites are built with, such as Flash and Javascript.
I do all my digital artwork under the name Abstract Pixels. The thing I love most about doing any digital artwork is that, as I'm creating something, the effects take shape and end up creating something different and better than what I had planned. I always love the finished product because it is unique and is born from the creative process. I do everything from logo creation to photo restoration. If it's in digital form, I can make the Pixels Abstract.
I have included several samples of the different types of work I have done. Please check them out, and don't hesitate to tell me what you like, or don't like, and why. All comments are greatly appreciated.
